The Senior Claims Assessor Opportunity

Your role as a Senior Claims Assessor at AIA Australia will see you reporting to the team leader based in our Sydney office. You will work in a team that is responsible for the assessment of all types of claims including term life/death, total permanent disablement and income protection. You will do this within agreed timeframes and ensure that this is within the framework of our business operating protocols, policy terms and conditions and, where appropriate, the Insurance Contracts Act and other relevant legislation.

What do you need to be a Senior Claims Assessor?

To be successful as a Senior Claims Assessor, you will come from either an Allied Healthcare, Legal or claims management background in a Life Insurance environment. You will have excellent verbal and written communication skills, have financial or accounting skills and the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders whether internal or external. You will know how to manage your time and be organised to deliver your work in a fast paced dynamic environment. You will be motivated by making a difference and will understand how to manage your priorities and stakeholders effectively.


We’d also be really interested in speaking with you if you have come from a Legal, Physiotherapist, Occupational Therapist, Psychologist or Chiropractic background and are looking for a new challenge in a great team.
