Senior Manager / Manager, Healthcare Programme Office

Main aims are to support the Healthcare Programme Office by delivering crucial insights on the healthcare portfolio, primarily focusing on the healthcare claims data, to influence the delivery of cost effective and high-quality care, to enhance customer satisfaction and to optimize financial outcomes.


Roles and Responsibilities:

  • To assess and make sense of complexities of the healthcare claims data and clinical coding to track trends and reveal business insights into customer and provider behaviour, enabling the creation of a 360-degree view of our customers, agents and providers
  • Create structured insights and analysis to pinpoint areas and symptoms of unnecessary or inappropriate medical spend, risk profiling of customers and providers, and areas of potential fraud and abuse
  • Provide insights and analysis to support key functions to inform product strategy & design, prioritisation and monitoring of effectiveness of managed care initiatives, including undertaking specific, targeted analysis of the healthcare claims data to facilitate the identification of cost containment opportunities
  • Work alongside the Healthcare Programme Office, Group Health, Claims, Actuarial, Marketing, and Strategy and Transformation teams to support ongoing healthcare initiatives
  • Maintain awareness and understanding key trends in healthcare, especially from a Payer perspective, and serve as a resource for sharing best practices
  • Presentation and communication of reporting templates and healthcare dashboards to support the healthcare strategy and cost optimisation initiatives




  • Bachelor or above degree in health, computer science, economics, engineering, statistics, applied mathematics or a related field
  • Prior knowledge of and experience with analyzing Healthcare claims data, specifically HealthShield data is preferred but not mandatory
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in a decision support / data analytics role with strong SQL programming skills are required (Oracle / MSSQL) and experience in Python or R is preferred
  • Expertise in the use of visualization tools, e.g. Tableau required
  • Passionate and able to work independently with large and multiple data sets from various business processes and systems, to support the business in achieving strategic objectives
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills, good organizational, interpersonal, and team skills
  • In addition to being an excellent written and verbal communicator, the ideal candidate will be resourceful and highly-analytical
