Executive/Assistant Manager, Claims

To be the main liaison for claims escalation by brokers and clients.  To work internally with various parties to resolve the claims escalation raised.


Key Responsibilities

  • Process and decide on claim settlements and approve within authority limit
  • Ensure all queries are responded in a timely manner
  • Work closely with brokers/agents/corporate clients on claims matters/enquiries/complaints
  • Liaise with healthcare providers, TPAs and CPF Board
  • Present to brokers/agents/corporate clients on claims processes
  • Managing system and other projects on ad hoc basis
  • Tracking of operational statistics
  • Handling of exceptional claims escalated issues and appeals
  • Perform claims audit/review as and when assigned.
  • Carry out task assigned by Deputy Manager and Head of Claims
  • Managing and responding for escalation cases/requests from OSS Contact Centre, Claims, and PMM team, Brokers, Direct clients and internal sections.


Key Requirements

  • Min. Degree with min. 3 to 5 years of insurance experience
  • Health Insurance certification preferred
  • Good analytical and problem solving skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and independently
  • Comfortable working with people and communicating to various stakeholders
  • Highly organized and meticulous. Data Savvy, Tableau knowledge an asset
  • Able to support system enhancements/testing apart from claims work will be priortise.
  • Working knowledge of RPA an asset
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
