Job Summary:

Manage all related tax activities including tax planning, reporting, filing, audits, tax compliance and internal tax advisory, to minimize tax costs as well as tax risk.


Key Responsibilities:

- Assist in robust country taxation policies and controls establishment and maintenance (10%)

- Oversee regular and ad hoc tax assignments of FSSC and branch tax teams, ensure adherence to tax compliance (20%)

- Proactively participate in tax system establishment and manage maintenance (15%)

- Provide technical advice/suggestion to business partners and branches (10%)

- Manage all corporate income tax compliance activities, including tax filing, tax allocation, tax auditing (20%)

-  Manage all taxation management activities, including tax reporting, tax position monitoring, tax budgeting and tax forecasting (20%)

-  Help handle working relationship with tax bureaus and other jobs assigned by supervisor (5%)


Job Requirements:

  • Education – Bachelor or above degree holder in accounting, finance or tax.
  • Experience – 5-8 working experience in the tax function in multinational company. Experience to deal with external government bodies such as local tax bureau required. Experience in life insurance company preferred. Experience in managing jobs and communications in a headquarters-vs-branch environment preferred
  • Certifications/licenses – CPA, ACCA or CIMA is an advantage

    Knowledge and skills

  • Knowledge on China Accounting Standard and IFRS tax accounting
  • Good numerical and financial analysis skills
  • Skillful in office softwares like word, excel, powerpoint, etc.
  • Fluency in spoken and written Mandarin and English
