Manager, AMC Operation Risk

Job Summary:

To implement an effective internal control on AMC operation, working as a first line of defence to ensure that all internal control, operation risk, legal and compliance risk in AMC is efficiently and effectively assessed, mitigated and controlled.


Key Responsibilities:

1. Internal control / SOP / internal rules and regulations (规章制度) (30%)

  • Prepare and maintain the SOP and internal rules & regulations of AMC
  • Assit to responsible for development of relevant investment control / compliance procedures according to regulator’s requirement
  • Conduct operation monitoring (daily, monthly, ad-hoc) including but not limit to daily post trade, best exection, trade limit and best practice in daily operation.

2. Operation risk monitoring and control (20%)

  • Monitor the operation risk for whole AMC operation and work with business units to impletement an effective operation risk assessment and control
  • Support the business units to identify, implement the control procedures and mitigate the operation risk on a ongoing basis
  • Implement and enhance AMC’s internal control whilst ensuring its alignment with business objectives, departmental and corporate directions
  • Assist to prepare and maintain the Key Risk Indicator (KRI) and Risk & Control Self Assessment (RCSA) control

3. Supports business units for CIRC or other regulator projects (30%)

  • Support the business units to handle the projects in connection with CIRC, regulator, internal control, risk management and compliance.

4. Partnership Management (20%)

  • Assist to work with relevant departments such as compliance, ERM, legal and internal audit to perform second line defense functions


Job Requirement:

  • Education – Master degree and graduate from well-known university in China, major in civic and commercial law is preferred.
  • Experience – at least 2-3 years in financial industry, prefer in compliance, internal audit and risk management areas of insurance asset management company
  • Special skills – experiences to prepare and maintain SOP, internal rules and regulation (规章制度) and deal with regulator.
  • Good command of written and spoken English and Mandarin
  • Good communication and interpersonal skill
  • Independent and strong self-initative
