We are in the market looking for an experienced Project Coordinator with experience within Software Development projects to join and support our growing Automation team. We are looking for someone with great written and verbal communication skills, a passion and ability for bringing order to the chaos and the kind of emotional intelligence and negotiation skills that help bring a skilled technical team together. Our project teams are delivering programs of work that are critical to the future success of AIA . 

Start Date & Duration: ASAP - 12 month contract opportunity 
Location: 509 St Kilda Road Melbourne – corner of Commercial Road/St Kilda Road 

In this role you will get exposure to both waterfall and agile delivery methodologies. Good attention to detail is a must have and while there is a administrative aspect to this role, the role will be very dynamic. We are looking for team members who are adaptable to change and can communicate effectively with all levels of stakeholders. There will also be the opportunity to manage some parts of the project delivery while supporting  the Program in the following areas:

  • Supporting the Agile Delivery Lead in managing the stream of work for the developers/testers etc 
  • Provisioning and operating PMO services in accordance to the AIA standards, procedures, methods, tools, templates and techniques
  • Planning and Schedule Management
  • Liaising with the Agile Delivery Lead to support delivery against the program timelines
  • Supporting functions including governance and reporting, risks, issues, decisions and dependencies processes and registers (including monitoring, reporting and escalating as required)
  • Liaising with internal staff, vendors and others to arrange necessary support for the program

Minimum/preferred Job Requirements:

  • 3 - 5 years’ experience in technology project support or coordination 
  • Ablity and experience preparing effective/concise project documentation and presentations
  • Strong analytical and communication skills
  • Strong administrative experience
