Senior Associate / Assistant Manager, Actuarial

  • Prepare and review financial reports and monthly valuation according to different reporting standards and guidelines accurately, timely and independently.
  • Design and write computer programs for process enhancement and conducting analysis such as profitability and financial projection.
  • Ensure controls on procedures & results with audit evidences and updated documentation are in place with regular review for enhancement.
  • Prepare and review experience study and participate in taskforces to meet requirement of end users.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate actuarial model to perform projections and valuation according to business needs, regulatory and company guidelines.
  • Participate in the presentation and discussion with various stakeholders regarding the results.
  • Participate in implementation/development of Financial Reporting Standard/Capital Framework (e.g. IFRS 4 Phase 2, Review of RBC, etc).



  • Bachelor degree in Actuarial Science and good progress towards professional qualification with an internationally recognized actuarial professional body.
  • Preferably minimum 3 years of working experience in valuation field in life insurance.
  • Proficient in spreadsheet and programming, especially Microsoft Excel and Prophet.
  • Good writing and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Detailed-oriented, efficient, responsible, self-motivated and able to work under pressure.
  • A good team player who is keen to learn and able to work independently.
