Job Summary

Contributes to the accounting operations by handling regular transactions and preparing reports according to the company policies and guidelines in a timely manner.


Roles and Responsibilities

General Payment processing

  • Collects data and prepare accruals transactions for month end closing
  • Prepares payment to 3rd party vendor via Ariba
  • Provide support to raise Purchase Order thus ensuring that all payments are in compliance with internal policies.
  • Prepare expenses request for pre-approval under Concur

General financial reporting processing

  • Prepare schedules / reports for statutory, and management reporting related to Asset Management (SFC Type 9 License) business;
  • Prepare accounting and journal entries, investment schedule;
  • Review monthly investment management fee calculation;


SAP processing

  • Work with outsourced services provider for performing SAP system tasks including financial reporting, income receipt, expense payment and treasury operations;
  • Carry out proper follow-up action with outsourced services provider on problems related to SAP system interfaces and reconciliations;



  •  Monitor daily balance of operating bank accounts to maintain sufficient cash to meet operating needs and SFC regulatory needs;
  • Ensure the correctness of work done by outsourced service provider;
  • Maintain up to date records of authorized signers for bank accounts and ebanking system;
  • Performs other responsibilities and duties periodically assigned by supervisor in order to meet operational and/or other requirements


Job Requirements

  • University / College with major graduate in Accountancy / Finance or registered student of a recognized professional accountancy body passing part of the examination, plus 2 years relevant experience
  • Proficient in MS office and hands-on experience in SAP accounting software is an added advantage
  • Able to meet tight work schedule and do multi-task;
  • Self-motivated, detailed minded, responsible and able to work under minimum supervision
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels
  • Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese
