The Role:


Due to growth, our New Business team has five new secondments available as a New Business Administrator on a 12 month fixed term contract.


You’ll be responsible for finalising and issuing all new business for Sovereign. This is a role for someone who has a positive can-do attitude, who thrives in an administrative role and understands that it has a crucial role to play in a bigger picture. Strong organisation, prioritisation and attention to detail comes naturally to you and you’d relish an opportunity to hone these skills further.


This is a close knit team where progression opportunities arise and you’ll have a Manager who actively supports and encourages development and growth.


This is a 12 month fixed term contract role.


Key Responsibilities in this role are:


  • Working closely with the New Business Relationship Manager's and Underwriters to ensure that documentation is completed correctly and any issues are rectified in a timely manner
  • Collating New Business applications, calling Intermediaries to gather missing documentation, processing, loading and issuing policies


Skills and experience you will bring to the role:

  • Ideally have come from an insurance environment and have had exposure to policy documentation or at least administration within a corporate business
  • Have a knack for knowing when something looks right and you have the confident to proactively reach out to stakeholders/customers to resolve issues.
  • You take pride in your results and are eager to continue learning.
  • Exceptional administrative skills
  • Be able to learn quickly and retain complex information
  • Solid in communicating with key stakeholders
  • Deliver superior customer service
