Application materials (and any personal information contained in such materials) will be retained in accordance with the data retention policies of the AIA entity to which you apply for a position and any rules and regulations applicable to that AIA entity. AIA is committed to compliance with its privacy obligations. AIA operates in many countries around the world, and you therefore consent to AIA processing your information on its servers in any country in which AIA or its third party vendors operate. Additionally, our e-recruitment platform is hosted and supported by an external vendor whose servers are in the United States. You further consent that we may transfer your personal information outside the relevant jurisdiction in which you are applying for the position and/or to our third party vendor for access and processing your data and hosting such data in the United States. If you are offered a position of employment with AIA, such offer may be contingent upon satisfactory completion of additional procedures in compliance with the practices of the relevant AIA entity to which you are applying and they may include reference checks and background searches.
You are responsible for ensuring that the information you submit is accurate and up-to-date. You may review, update or correct your personal information at any time using the site. If you do not fully complete the requested fields in the application, we may be unable to consider your application, however, the salary of your current or last employment is treated as voluntary data. Third Party Host Terms
You agree not to: (a) copy, translate, disassemble, decompile, reverse-engineer or otherwise modify any parts of the site; (b) transmit any content, data or information that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, malicious, abusive, harassing, tortious, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, libelous, invasive of another’s privacy or right of publicity, hateful, or racially, ethnically or otherwise objectionable; (c) infringe the intellectual property rights of any entity or person; (d) interfere with or disrupt the SAP software or SAP systems used to host the site, or other equipment or networks connected to the site, or disobey any requirements, procedures, policies or regulations of networks connected to the site made known to you; (e) use the site in the operation of a service bureau, outsourcing or time-sharing service; (f) circumvent the user authentication or security of the site or any host, network, or account related thereto; (g) use any application programming interface to access the site other than those made available by SAP; (h) make any use of the site that violates any applicable local, state, national, international or foreign law or regulation; or (i) allow any third party to use any user identification(s), code(s), password(s), procedure(s) and user keys issued to, or selected by, you for access to the site. You represent and warrant to SAP that your data is free of all viruses, Trojan horses, and comparable elements which could harm the systems or software used by SAP or its subcontractors to operate the Site.
You agree to change all passwords used to access the Site at regular intervals. Should you learn of an unauthorized third party having obtained knowledge of your password, you must inform AIA or SAP thereof without undue delay and promptly change the password. You accept that the site is provisioned at the location of SAP’s data center which may be outside the country where you reside (“Your Country”), by SAP or its related company which may be located outside Your Country, and it is solely your obligation to ensure your access to and use of the site comply with applicable laws and regulations of Your Country. You are responsible for the connection to the site, including the Internet connection. SAP does not provide any form of telecommunication services to you (and any representation and/or warranty to such effect are hereby disclaimed).
You consent to the collection, storage, processing and/or use of your data by SAP for the purposes of operating this Site, and shall, to the extent within your control, ensure that no legal requirements will prevent SAP from fulfilling its contractual obligations to operate this site in compliance with applicable law.
You shall at your own expense defend SAP and/or its related companies against claims brought against SAP and/or its related companies by any third party arising from or related to (i) your use of this site in violation of any applicable law or regulation; or (ii) an allegation that your data or your use of this site violates, infringes or misappropriates the rights of a third party. You will pay damages finally awarded against SAP or its related companies (or the amount of any settlement) with respect to such claims.
AIA reserves the right, at any time and without notice, to add to, change, update or modify the terms of this statement. Any such change, update or modification will be effective immediately upon posting.
